a) CreativeAMPED® ignite that spark!

 

a) It is an integrative arts programme with the aim of nurturing creative thinking skills at the lower primary school level.

The trainer(s) for this programme will work together with the school teachers to conduct a series of activities that incorporates the following:

*Reflective observation & Sense-making skills

*Elements from Art-making techniques

*Principles from Contemporary dance

Suggested time frame for this programme is a minimum of 9 x 1hr lesson in a school term. 

All these learning will be integrated and result in:

An informal showing cum exhibition that features art work on wooden boards & a creative 'play' movement segment will be showcased at the end of the 9 lessons. Students can journal their work in a variety of formats/media.

The uniqueness of this programme is in the 'self-construct' nature of the tasks in each lesson.  The programme has been well-researched & carefully put together for the students to have a refreshing approach towards learning about empathy through observation & reflection; being open to different perspectives; building confidence to 'make a statement' and not about attaining arts literacy.

b) Play and Movement (PAM). This programme is specially designed for children who are differently abled.  Principles & concepts are adapted from CreativeAMPED.
